1. Attack against the field army of the enemy.
- this attack is used only to destroy the enemy field army. After the battle your army heads back home without pillaging or attacking the fortress.

2. Pillage attack.
- this attack is used to destroy the enemy villagers. If the enemy has a field army in the province, it must be destroyed before pillaging can be performed. The fortress is ignored. Any province can be pillaged only once every 168 hours, and no more than 20% of its population can be killed at once. For every villager killed the invader gets 5 gold.

3. Fortress siege attack:
- the purpose of this attack is to take the enemy's fortress. If there is a field army in the province, it must be destroyed before hand. After the fortress is taken all resources that are stocked inside are liquidated in gold and the attacking army goes home with it. (the rate that the resources are liquidated is always fixed to 10wood=2iron=5stone=5gold. The fortress is left damaged and must be repaired by the defender.
